How early can we arrive at Point View Resort and check into our cabin?
All cabins are ready no later than 3:00pm, however our guests can check into their cabins as soon as they have been cleaned.

What time is “check-out” time?
Check out time at Point View Resort is 10:00am. All guests must of off-grounds at that time. We allow you to check in early, but you have to depart on time to allow for cleaning.

What is Point View Resort’s “visitor policy”?
All day visitors are charged $10/day per person. Everyone is expected to check in the office and be assigned a parking space.

Does Point View Resort have a launching ramp for my boat?
Because of insurance reasons, Point View Resort performs all of the launching ($6/in, $6/out). Our ramp is located between cabins and is difficult to access.

Is there a fishing boat rental at Point View Resort?
We offer all new equipment fishing boats with 15hp and 25hp electric start motors.

Can we rent a pontoon boat at Point View Resort?
We do not have pontoon boat rentals, but we do have several boat rental business that we work with. Getting a pontoon boat is never a problem.

Where is Point View Resort located on Lake of the Ozarks?
Point View Resort is located on 6 miles upstream on the Little Niangua Arm from the 31 mm (main channel). This area is considered the “clean, clear waters” side of the Lake, were skiing, tubing, fishing and boating are still enjoyable. Is the fishing good at point view resort and what kind of fish is found in Lake of the Ozarks?
Fishing for Crappie, White Bass, Big Mouth Bass, Catfish, Spoonbill and Bluegill is always great at Point View Resort.

Does Point View Resort have established Crappie beds under their docks?
Yes. Each year we harvest local spruce trees from our property to keep our Crappie beds active.

Is weather at Lake of the Ozarks warm enough to swim on Memorial Day Holiday?
Most late May visitors at Point View Resort do swim. There is an occasional Memorial Day that is too cool for swimming.

Does Point View Resort have swimming pools?
No. We have two sandy beaches that slope gradually into the Lake of the Ozarks that provide easily accessible, excellent swimming.

Is Point View Resort’s property level?
Point View Resort’s grounds are uniquely very level, well groomed and blend into the natural surroundings of Lake of the Ozarks.

Do you have well maintained covered docks with good bumpers, well lighted and places to plug in battery charges?
Yes to all of the above. We take great pride in all Point View Resorts facilities. Our docks are very well maintained.
